On March 8th, the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy (AGH) in Kraków hosted a Job Fair for Engineers. This was already the 14th edition of this event. The Academy invited students and graduates of the technical departments of all Kraków’s higher education institutions to visit the stands of potential employers. All interested visitors were welcome at the Academy’s Central Building in 30, Aleja Mickiewicza. The exhibitors included ORLEN Upstream.
The Job Fair for Engineers is one of the most effective ways to look for a job, occupational internship, or for a training experience. It offers fledgling specialists and a group of strictly profiled employers the opportunity of exchanging information and comments on a face-to-face basis. The fair is a good occasion to obtain the most up-to-date information about businesses, their recruitment procedures and plans, and the requirements they expect potential employees to meet. For the employers, this is an opportunity to establish contact with a large group of young, ambitious and active job seekers.
ORLEN Upstream was among those inviting candidates to peruse its job offers. Visitors to the company’s stand could find out much about the activities of the company, about the industry as such, as well as about the terms of employment, the company’s expectations concerning the candidates and about opportunities for professional development. The ORLEN Upstream stand enjoyed huge visitor interest, a popularity evidenced by the large number of interviews conducted and applications filed.
